Hi Everyone! I hope you are well and warm in this cold Winter we are experiencing!
People often ask me where I get my motivation from. There are a few places I find my inspiration. My most favourite is being connected. Join groups, go to class and workshops, invite people over for a card and coffee morning or afternoon and getting involved in challenges. Pinterest is great but I have often started looking for cards and ended up at recipes or organising (both are good though!) and not being inspired (for making cards).

Yesterday a video by Connie Stewart inspired me. When I'm really lacking in ideas, I CASE (copy and steal everything - but give credit) other peoples ideas and usually I end up making my own version.

This is what happened yesterday. My own version came about cutting the base cardstock the wrong way but I wanted my card to open the same way Connie's did. Instead of cutting a new lot of cardstock I just went with the flow and turned it on its side.

Having a reason for making a card is always a great way as you are making it for someone special. For this card, my father-in-law's birthday is later in the month.

This is what I came up with.

πWould you like to make this card or one like it? Maybe a female version or a child's version? I can teach you to make this card and others.
