Top Ten Winners Blog Hop October 2019

Hello, welcome to my blog, come on in, sit back and relax. A few weeks ago I created this card for Kylie Bertucci’s International Blog Highlights. I was so elated to find out that I was voted in the top ten. Thank you to everyone who voted for me. You can find out all the details for this card HERE

I feel very honoured to be in Kylie's Top Ten Winners Blog Hop. I want to send a big thank you to Kylie for organizing all the Blog Highlights and Hops and helping when needed.

Now, on with my Winners Post.  Recently, I bought the Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) and have been very inspired to create non-Christmas cards.  The paper is absolutely captivating! It's hard to choose which sheet to use. This DSP makes card-making easy, it's so subtle yet stunning and compliments my style of card-making, clean and simple.

The theme for this blog hop is Encouragement.  I felt this sentiment would be great for my friend who is having a lot of health problems.

Although it's a little hard to see, I masked the Night of Navy cardstock using the dots mask and Night of Navy ink. I didn't want to detract from the paper but I felt that the Night of Navy cardstock needed something. I feel the white die cuts work with the DSP.

Pearls always add a touch of class to any project. When teamed with the subtle textured dotted lace ribbon, the project becomes even more elegant.  For the inside of the card, I used Whisper White cardstock and a strip of the same DSP down the long side of the card.

I just know my friend is going to love it! That's why I create cards, to uplift my friends and family. I also love teaching people to make their own cards and find the same satisfaction that I get when giving a loved one a card that I've made with my own two hands.

If you don't already have a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, I would love to help you in your creative journey.

It'ss now time to hop on to the blogs of the other winners. I am curious about what gorgeous things have been created. To continue hopping, just click on the name below mine (I am Kim Heath).
